Membership
Why become a member?
It is mandatory for an entity to register for membership on the platform to reap the benefits that the JDXP has to offer.
Membership ensures that the approved agencies are exchanging data securely and are in compliance with the Data Protection and other applicable Acts.
Approval process
Once an agency or company applies for membership, there is an approval process that must take place. The process is as follows:
- The membership request will be reviewed by the Platform Support Agency (PSA).
- After the request has been reviewed, the PSA will either approve or reject a membership request, after which a notification will be sent to the agency.
- If the agency is approved, an email requesting the configuration of firewall rules to the Platform Support Agency.
- If the agency’s request is rejected and an automated email will be sent to the agency.
- After the agency has been approved, the agency will receive a configuration email and will have the ability to create user accounts. These user accounts will be sent to the agency's administrator and configured.
Once the configuration of the firewall and the user accounts are successful, the agency will be ready to use the platform
